Paarens Beach Provincial Park
This provincial park is located 11 km down Sowchea Bay Road on the shores of Stuart Lake. The park offers camping, swimming, a sheltered picnic area, and a boat launch. Enjoy the long sandy beach and in the evening sit by the fire in the cool shade of your campsite. The park is available for day or night use.

Sowchea Bay Provincial Park
Come stay on the shores of Stuart Lake and enjoy one of the most spectacular views of lake and surrounding mountains. Take a refreshing swim,and in the evening sit by the fire and enjoy the peace and quiet of a beautiful sunset. This provincial park is located on Sowchea Bay Road, and offers a boat launch, swimming, fire wood on site and overnight camping. Don't Forget Your Camera


Cottonwood Park
This park is the scene of many activities that happen throughout the year in Fort St. James. There is a playground for children and a beach for swimming, covered area for rainy days, a band stand for special occassions, a beautiful setting for large family gatherings, when a day at the beach is just the thing.This park is for day use only. Features of interest at the park are the replica of the Junkers W34 Float Plane and the Old Steam Shovel



Goodwin Park
Goodwin park is a park for all members of the family. There are tennis courts, a playground
for children, an open field area for other games. This park is located in town on Birch Street.

Rotary Kiddie Park
The park features a well equipped play area for kids. It is located near the baseball diamonds on Stuart Drive.
